How can our chiropractor help you?
With chiropractic care, your body has to go through a particular treatment plan to repair itself correctly and fully.
There are three general phases:
RELIEF
Most people go to a chiropractor because they are in pain. In this phase, our main objective is to help you alleviate pain and start feeling better as soon as possible.
RESTORE
During this phase, muscles and other tissues are allowed to heal more completely, which helps prevent further injury or pain. The goal of Restore phase is to help you bring your body back to 100% function and range of motion.
REHAB
Once your body has fully healed, strengthening through chiropractic care and exercises can help ensure that your physical problems do not return and keep your body in optimal condition. The end goal is to promote total body wellness and experience the highest quality of life.
What To Expect On Your Visits
1. Patient Forms
We ask that you complete our Patient Intake Form online, before your appointment, or at the clinic kiosk upon arrival. This paperwork provides us with your health history and information on your condition.
2. Chiropractic Consultation
You will meet with our chiropractor to discuss your health-related problems, concerns, and potential treatment options. This initial visit is designed for us to learn more about you, your condition, and expectations to determine how chiropractic care can meet your goals.
3. Spinal & Postural Screening
Our chiropractors will perform a complete chiropractic examination, testing your reflexes and flexibility. Other standard neurological, orthopedic, postural, and physical tests will be performed as well. However, nothing will be done in our clinic without your consent.
4. Spinal X-Ray Analysis
Depending on your specific condition, we may take X-rays. This will help us develop the most effective treatment plan for you and alert us of any serious spinal conditions.
5. Chiropractic Report of Findings
After examining your spine and reviewing your health history, goals, and x-rays, our chiropractors in the Aloha clinic will give you a detailed report and discuss recommendations.
6. Chiropractic Adjustment & Therapy
You can choose to experience your first treatment, which may include spinal adjustments, physical therapy, and soft tissue massage. The treatment is interactive so that you can express concerns anytime. ReNu Chiropractic Health in Aloha will provide the best treatment for your needs.
7. Health & Wellness Program
After your treatment, our chiropractors will suggest a wellness program to incorporate outside of treatment. This may include ice or heat application instructions, certain activities or positions to avoid, and at home exercises and stretches.
Our wellness team will work with you to create healthy habits and routines for your lifestyle. Every person is unique; therefore, everyone requires a customized wellness plan. Our wellness program aims to achieve good spinal alignment, incorporate a healthy diet, exercise, and maintain a positive mental state.
